Job summary

The Macon Bibb County Economic Opportunity Council, Inc. is hiring an EHS Teacher to work with children aged 0-3 and their families in Macon, GA.

The role focuses on CLASS™ based interactions, creating a nurturing learning environment, assessing child progress, and meeting each child’s needs while collaborating with families and team members. Ideal candidates hold Infant/Toddler CDA or TCC Early Childhood Education and have experience with infants and toddlers.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA or TCC Early Childhood Education – minimum requirement.
• Experience working with infants and toddlers.
• Intermediate computer literacy in email, word processing, internet navigation and skills to work with program specific databases.
• Pass all background checks and drug screenings.
• Daily reliable transportation – willing to use personal vehicle for visits and meetings.
• Ability to sit, bend, crawl, kneel and lift/carry up to 50lbs.

The EHS Teacher’s role is working with children between the ages of 0-3, it encompasses the following:

Requirements:

• Infant/Toddler CDA or TCC Early Childhood Education – minimum requirement
• Experience working with infants and toddlers.

• Daily reliable transportation – must be willing to use personal vehicle to make home visits, attend meetings and other assigned duties for the Agency.
• Ability to sit, bend, crawl, kneel for long periods of time or repeatedly and must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs.
