Job summary

Macon Bibb County Economic Opportunity Council, Inc. seeks an EHS Teacher to work with children ages 0-3. You will support teacher-child interactions, foster development, and collaborate with families to close the achievement gap. This role includes home visits and requires reliable transportation.

Qualifications include Infant/Toddler CDA or TCC ECE, experience with infants/toddlers, basic computer skills, and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

The EHS Teacher’s role is working with children between the ages of 0-3, it encompasses the following:

• CLASS™ teacher-child interactions
• Learning environment
• Child assessment
• Meeting all children’s needs

Requirements:

• Infant/Toddler CDA or TCC Early Childhood Education – minimum requirement
• Experience working with infants and toddlers.
• Intermediate computer literacy in email, word processing, internet navigation and skills to work with program specific databases,
• Pass all background checks and drug screenings
• Daily reliable transportation – must be willing to use personal vehicle to make home visits, attend meetings and other assigned duties for the Agency.
• Ability to sit, bend, crawl, kneel for long periods of time or repeatedly and must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs.
