Macon-Bibb County Economic Opportunity Council, Inc. is seeking a Relief Worker to assist classroom teachers with lunch breaks.

The role involves rotating classrooms, relieving classroom staff for lunch, and providing professional support to teachers by managing classrooms and students while maintaining a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED from an accredited institution.
• Ability to sit, bend, crawl, kneel for long periods of time or repeatedly and lift/carry up to 50lbs.
• Pass all background checks.

• Assist classroom teachers with lunch breaks and rotate classrooms to relieve staff.
• Provide professional support to teachers by managing classrooms and students effectively and ensuring a safe, thriving, and respectful environment.
