Job summary

Allegion is seeking an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for our hollow metal facility in McKenzie, Tennessee. You will lead EHS and sustainability efforts across incident prevention, regulatory compliance, training, audits, and contractor safety, partnering with operations, maintenance, quality and HR to embed safety into daily work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Federal, State and local EHS regulations and permitting.
• Experience with wastewater treatment systems and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent communication and proactive safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate EHS and sustainability metrics and drive improvement plans.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Facilitate Safety Committee activities, Kaizen events and JSA analyses.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments for projects and capital investments.
• Develop and deliver training and toolbox talks based on regulations and trends.
• Oversee EHS Management System, audits, permits, and document control.
• Manage the site’s wastewater treatment operations and regulator liaison.
• Develop emergency preparedness and spill response programs.
• Direct audits, communicate findings to leadership, and close action items.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering to align priorities.
• Coach site leaders to improve risk controls and safe behaviors.
• Oversee workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Ensure regulatory reporting for air, water, waste, EPCRA, OSHA, and more.
