Job summary

Allegion is seeking an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead EHS and sustainability at our hollow metal facility in McKenzie, Tennessee. This role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on execution to create a safe, compliant, and healthy workplace while ensuring on‑time production of hollow metal doors and frames and upholding strong risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State and local EHS regulations and permitting.
• Experience managing a wastewater treatment plant or equivalent industrial water treatment system.
• Strong incident investigation, root-cause analysis and corrective action management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
• Preferred CSP, CIH, CHMM or CEM certification; Lean/Six Sigma exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS and sustainability at the hollow metal facility in McKenzie, TN.
• Maintain accurate EHS metrics and drive improvement initiatives.
• Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Facilitate Safety Committee activities and Job Safety Analyses to reduce hazards.
• Develop training programs and toolbox talks based on regulations and trends.
• Oversee EHS management systems, audits, permits and SOPs; drive continuous improvement.
• Manage wastewater treatment operations and regulatory reporting; coordinate sampling and permits.
• Enterprise-wide safety alignment with operations, maintenance, quality, and HR.
