Job summary

Ilocatum, a large heavy industrial manufacturing facility in west Tennessee, seeks a Senior Safety and Environmental Specialist to join a three-person EHS team. Based at McKenzie, TN, you will drive safety systems, audits, training, and incident investigations to protect workers.

This hands-on, collaborative role leads culture change, manages workers’ compensation, supports emergency planning, and helps ensure environmental compliance. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years safety experience in manufacturing operations.
• BS degree in a related technical field.
• Experience with safety programs, audits, training, and investigations.
• Data-driven approach with ability to turn metrics into action.
• Hands-on, collaborative leader capable of changing safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of the site’s health and safety processes.
• Develop and implement safety systems and programs.
• Conduct safety audits and lead employee training.
• Lead accident investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage workers’ compensation cases and emergency response planning.
• Support environmental compliance and reporting as required.
