ConMet is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to oversee the EHS program across our Monroe and Charlotte facilities. The role focuses on planning, implementing, and administering health, safety, and environmental initiatives to protect workers and the environment.

You will represent the company with regulators, coordinate investigations, and drive continuous improvement in ISO 14001 and environmental compliance programs.

Competenze

• BS in occupational health, safety, environmental, engineering, chemical sciences or related field.
• HazMat DOT, RCRA, OSHA 40 HR certification.

Mansioni

• Plan, develop, implement, and administer occupational health and safety programs.
• Represent the company to regulatory officials and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules.
• Coordinate investigations of safety issues and injuries; assist with corrective actions.
• Supervise inspections and on-site surveys for health, safety, and environmental hazards.
• Develop and conduct health and safety education, training programs, and safety committee meetings.
• Coordinate ISO 14001 sustainability and continuous improvement efforts.
• Manage environmental compliance programs and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Serve as plant emergency coordinator and prepare technical reports.
