CARBO CERAMICS LLC. seeks an Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability Manager to lead EHS strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive sustainable manufacturing practices across sites in the United States and abroad.

The role requires a track record in managing EHS programs, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence leadership while prioritizing safety and environmental stewardship. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, the Sciences, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience managing the EHS function in an industrial environment.
• In depth experience and knowledge in Environmental Permitting activities, State and Federal EHS Regulations and Safety management.
• Demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of EHS results.
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer-facing skills, ability to influence and motivate leaders and employees, excellent oral and written communication & analytical skills, leadership skills, self-motivation.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure CARBO’s domestic facilities comply with environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Oversee EHS regulatory permitting and reporting activities.
• Coordinate sustainability tracking and climate-related risk assessment.
• Lead product stewardship and regulatory registrations for CARBO products.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and business leaders on EHS initiatives.
• Provide budget planning for the EH&S function.
