Interfor Corporation in Thomaston, Georgia, is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor to lead our EHS programs, drive compliance, and advance sustainable operations. You will champion safety culture, train teams, investigate incidents, and guide regulatory reporting and environmental activities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial manufacturing EHS, a Bachelor's in Safety or Industrial Hygiene, and CSP (preferred).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EHS experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• CSP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Lead and support EHS programs, training, certifications, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and monitoring to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage environmental programs, regulatory reporting, permits, records, and emergency preparedness activities.
