Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate Director, EHS at the Devens Facility in MA. The role leads Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, ensuring a compliant and proactive environment for operations.

Responsibilities include developing EHS policies, training, incident investigations, CAPA coordination, and collaboration with site leadership to align with BMS values and site strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in science or engineering required.
• Master’s/Graduate degree in a relevant discipline desired.
• Minimum 10 years of EHS experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in chemical or pharmaceutical industries is advantageous.
• Professional license or certification desired.
• Ability to influence and drive a sustainable EHS culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS efforts at the Devens Facility to drive long-term value.
• Develop and implement EHS programs, policies, and training.
• Provide regulatory guidance and execute EHS programs as SME.
• Communicate objectives for EHS while balancing risk and compliance.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage EHS self-assessment program and CAPAs.
• Coordinate MOC for EHS and perform risk assessments.
• Participate in EHS governance, audits, and leadership teams.
• Mentor EHS team members and promote proactive culture.
