Job summary

MedPharm is seeking an EHS Manager to lead Environmental Health and Safety programs across its GMP manufacturing facility and R&D laboratory. The role represents the company on regulatory EH&S matters and requires advancing risk-based safety practices.

The position oversees hazard control, waste management, emergency response, and training, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other agencies. Strong SME capabilities are expected for site-wide EHS leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in EHS in pharmaceutical manufacturing or R&D environments.
• Experience implementing EHS regulations and interacting with regulatory agencies.
• Familiarity with NFPA, ANSI, ACGIH, ISO, NIOSH and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S programs across GMP manufacturing and R&D lab sites.
• Manage hazard identification, controls, and emergency preparedness.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and corrective actions with regulators.
• Develop/maintain EH&S policies in compliance with state, federal, and local standards.
• Lead Material Risk Assessments for new compounds.
• Oversee waste management, hazardous materials handling, and fire life safety.
