Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Safe and Sustainable Operations, to lead the transformation of EHS programs into strategic business assets from Houston, Texas. You will guide high-impact projects, advise global clients, and strengthen relationships while advancing sustainable operations across industries.

The role requires 4–6 years (7+ preferred) of EHS experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven project leadership. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field with 4–6 years of EHS experience.
• Experience managing EHS audits, compliance programs and systems.
• Strong knowledge of EPCRA, R2/RIOS, ISO 14001/45001 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS audits, assessments and corrective actions for clients.
• Develop and implement EHS management systems and programs.
• Support permit applications and regulator communication.
• Manage multiple projects end-to-end within scope, time, and budget.
• Mentor junior staff and build client relationships for repeat business.
