Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in occupational safety, environmental health, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in construction EHS.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction training required.
• OSHA Course 500 training required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED/Naloxone certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines project-wide EHS strategy, goals, and maturity targets aligned with enterprise and business unit standards.
• Oversees EHS governance and audit programs across all project phases, ensuring consistent application of policies and regulatory compliance.
• Leads serious-incident investigations, learning reviews, and communication of findings across the project and to the enterprise EHS team.
• Partners with project executives, operations, and trade partners to plan and mitigate high-risk work and integrate EHS into project execution.
• Develops and mentors project EHS professionals, building capability and succession within the project and across the enterprise.
• Represents the project in regulatory interactions, owner and stakeholder engagements, and cross-project EHS forums.
• Tracks and reports EHS performance metrics, analyzing trends to inform leadership decisions and program adjustments.
