Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient ePayments America, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to own EHS programs across STS, TCD and Veridos businesses.

You will drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of EHS systems and culture to meet OSHA, EPA and ISO standards, and G+D requirements. You will lead audits, investigations and corrective actions, report risks to leadership, and ensure compliance across locations with a focus on hazard identification and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment; seven or more years preferred.
• Experience independently managing an EHS program or serving as the primary EHS business owner preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the EHS strategy, annual objectives, KPIs, audit and inspection schedule, training plan and improvement roadmap; establish priorities based on risk and business needs.
• Conduct routine facility and operational assessments to identify hazards, environmental impacts and compliance gaps before incidents or external findings occur.
• Develop, implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures and controls including chemical safety, hazardous energy, machine safety, PPE, industrial hygiene and emergency response.
• Own ISO environmental and OH&S management systems, including risk assessments and management reviews.
• Lead internal and external EHS audits and inspections; coordinate regulator and auditor interactions.
