Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Leader to develop and implement compliance programs and management systems for new manufacturing sites. You will lead ISO 14001/45001 efforts, drive TRIR reductions, and partner with operations, engineering, HR, facilities, and external agencies to embed EHS into daily operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years EHS experience, and strong leadership; travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, safety, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or complex settings.
• Experience developing and implementing EHS programs and management systems.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementations and audits.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Experience with permits, site assessments, high-risk work, incident prevention, corrective actions.
• Ability to analyze EHS data and establish KPIs.
• Experience with EHS digital platforms (MyLearning, Gensuite, MSDSOnline) preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional influence.
• Ability to work with operations, regulators, auditors, risk partners.
• Certification such as CSP/CIH/CHMM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS compliance programs and systems.
• Drive TRIR reduction and safety culture.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce risk and improve compliance.
• Coordinate environmental site assessments and follow-up actions.
• Obtain and maintain environmental permits and licenses.
• Ensure safe safeguards and protective systems.
• Engage external partners for risk engineering and loss prevention.
• Develop EHS management system with governance and audits.
• Create training programs and onboarding modules.
• Set up dashboards and reporting for EHS KPIs.
• Lead ISO 14001 and 45001 readiness and certification activities.
