Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an EHS Specialist to ensure site compliance with EHS policies, programs, and procedures. You will develop and contribute to EHS programs, conduct annual audits, and provide recommendations to improve safety performance and culture across projects.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, implementing Invenergy standards, preparing reports, delivering EHS training, and coordinating with site managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred.
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather and possibly at night.
• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assess risks and hazards to create a safe and healthy environment.
• Facilitate the implementation of Invenergy standards and procedures at sites.
• Manage required compliance activities, including EHS programs.
• Initiate investigations for incidents or near miss events and complete required forms.
• Conduct inspections and audits; ensure corrective actions are implemented and documented.
• Deliver training on EHS policies and programs as needed.
