Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking an EHS Specialist to support implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs. You will help ensure regulatory compliance, foster a culture of safety, and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Responsibilities include inspections, training, investigations, and maintaining robust documentation to support safety initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 2–4 years in an EHS-related role, preferably in manufacturing.
• OSHA 30-hour or First Aid/CPR (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and good communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support site compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations through inspections and audits.
• Assist with risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety data sheets, permits, and training records.
• Deliver EHS training sessions for new hires and ongoing training.
• Participate in incident investigations and prepare reports.
• Support sustainability initiatives and data collection/reporting.
• Collaborate with facilities, distribution, and operations to mitigate risks.
• Support audits and close findings.
• Contribute to EHS performance dashboards and metrics.
• Promote employee engagement in safety programs.
