Job summary

DPR Construction's Digital Building Components division is seeking an EHS Specialist to help implement environmental, health, and safety programs across sites. You will perform inspections, assist in training, maintain records, and support incident investigations to improve safety and compliance.

The role requires 2–4 years in EHS, a related degree, OSHA 30 Construction training, and a proactive approach to communicating policies and promoting safe practices on project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in environmental science, occupational health, safety management, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in EHS roles within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction training required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED/Narcan certifications preferred.
• STSC certification preferred; OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site inspections and risk assessments, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in development and delivery of standard EHS training for staff.
• Maintains accurate records of incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.
• Supports investigations of incidents independently by gathering data and preparing reports.
• Monitors the safe management of specific project strategies to ensure safe practices.
• Communicates EHS policies and procedures to promote understanding and compliance.
• Participates in team meetings to share insights and support safety initiatives.
