Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety candidate for a Dalton, GA-based opportunity. The role focuses on incident investigation, compliance documentation, and fostering safe work practices across the facility.

You will collaborate with management to implement safety policies, conduct training, and support emergency preparedness while ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience training employees and enforcing safety policies.
• Ability to maintain records, permits, and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, document findings and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor proper use of PPE and enforce safe work practices.
• Assist with emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
