Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Thomasville, GA is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to ensure OSHA, EPA compliance and workers' compensation administration. The role reports to the site General Manager with a matrix to Corporate EHS, and requires hands-on oversight of environmental monitoring, permits, and incident investigations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, or Engineering, has 5 years in industrial EHS, can work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, or Engineering.
• 5 years of work experience in an industrial setting with environment health and safety responsibilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assures that the Company complies with all local, state and federal environmental regulations.
• Monitors all physical locations for compliance and improvement opportunities.
• Assures all permits and records are current, accurate and valid.
• Conducts effective investigations into EHS incidents.
• Works closely with corporate and external counsel.
• Maintains relationships with agencies, compliance officers and inspectors.
• Communicates all Company policies and procedures for compliance.
• Continually reviews and updates Company policies to reflect regulatory changes.
