Job summary

Is-International-Services seeks an Environmental Health & Safety professional to develop and deliver EHS training, lead safety initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities in the Pooler, GA area.

The role involves incident investigations, data analysis, and maintaining safety records while collaborating with cross-functional teams and contractors. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 3+ years of EHS experience; degree substitution allowed.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EHS regulations and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and track EHS training programs for employees, supervisors, managers, and contractors.
• Lead safety initiatives, including audits and safety walks, to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and monitor corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS records, metrics, and reporting data; communicate trends to leadership.
