Job summary

Serve Robotics seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to implement workplace health, safety, and environmental programs across our operations in Los Angeles. You will partner with site leadership to promote a safe work environment, reduce risk, and drive continuous safety improvements.

The role covers policy development, inspections, incident investigations, training, emergency drills, and regulatory compliance with OSHA/EPA/local codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field; equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, robotics, technology operations, or similar environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS management systems.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EHS reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct routine facility inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Monitor corrective actions and verify timely completion.
• Assist in developing site-specific safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, local fire code, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain required EHS documentation, records, permits, and reports.
• Lead or support investigations of workplace injuries, near misses, and environmental incidents.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Promote a positive safety culture through employee engagement and awareness initiatives.
• Assist with emergency response planning and drills; coordinate emergency preparedness and equipment checks.
• Support waste management, recycling, and environmental compliance initiatives.
