Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive Environmental Health & Safety experience, preferably in automotive.
• Knowledge of MIOSHA, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA is a plus.
• Experience leading or participating in ISO 14001/45001 initiatives is desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies accordingly.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and actions.
• Lead or support incident investigations including root cause analysis.
• Track safety metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain regulatory records and prepare compliance documentation.
