Job summary

Accuray in Madison, WI seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety professional to lead and implement EHS programs across the site. You will drive regulatory compliance, risk reduction, training, incident investigations, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced medical device environment.

The role focuses on safety culture, hazard analysis, and coordination with global EHS leadership to ensure safety first while supporting production, quality, and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Natural Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in an EHS role.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local health and safety regulations (OSHA).
• Familiarity with radiation safety requirements.
• OSHA Certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for influencing across levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve EHS programs and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Promote a positive safety culture and engage employees and leaders in safety initiatives.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs and maintain training records.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical EHS guidance and support regulatory inspections.
• Analyze EHS performance metrics and report progress to management.
• Coordinate occupational health programs and emergency preparedness activities.
