Job summary

Bonduelle Americas is seeking an EHS Specialist to join the EH&S department in Irwindale, CA. The role focuses on creating an Incident and Injury Free culture while ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and internal policies.

Lead investigations and drive corrective actions to support BA’s service activities and products. The successful candidate will report to the EHS Manager and provide guidance on hazard assessments, root cause analyses and EHS program

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and Spanish with effective written and verbal communication.
• Flexibility to adjust hours to support operations and business needs.
• Working knowledge of federal/state OSHA regs incl. Cal/OSHA, EPA, CALARP, CUPA.
• Attention to detail in regulatory, incident, training and compliance documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead workplace incidents, injuries and near-miss investigations from initial response to closure.
• Conduct hazard assessments, JHAs, risk assessments and routine EHS inspections.
• Develop, coordinate and deliver EHS training to associates and managers.
• Administer EHS programs (LOTO, NFPA 70E, Hazard Communication, PPE, chemical safety).
• Provide guidance to Safety Committee and participate in operations meetings.
