Job summary

A leading manufacturer is seeking an EHS Specialist responsible for supporting environmental health safety functions and ensuring compliance at their Cookeville, TN facility. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety and 3-5+ years of relevant experience in safety programs, including knowledge of OSHA standards. Qualifications

• 3-5+ years related experience in manufacturing plant safety programs including Lock out Tag out and hazard communication.
• OSHA 511 and/or ASP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of regulations including US EPA, OSHA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with preparing annual plant budget for EHSS.
• Perform safety training sessions and manage EHSS through an ISO-based management platform.
• Report safety performance to Corporate EHSS Director.
