Job summary

Champion Integrated Building Solutions LLC is seeking an EHS Specialist to advance and implement our Environmental, Health & Safety program across steel fabrication and heavy industrial environments. The role involves hands-on leadership, risk identification, and collaboration with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, steel fabrication, heavy industrial, or related environments.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site EHS contact and promote a behavior-based safety program.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, OSHA records, and support inspections and audits.
• Conduct risk assessments and lead corrective actions.
• Assist in managing manufacturing safety programs (LOTO, machine guarding, etc.).
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations and track corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and supervisor coaching.
• Support environmental compliance, waste and spill programs, reporting and audits.
• Track EHS metrics and support continuous improvement.
