Job summary

Fiber Global is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to develop and drive our EHS programs, ensuring alignment with operational goals and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations. The role emphasizes risk assessments, incident investigations, training, and sustainability initiatives.

You will lead safety audits, support emergency preparedness, and manage contractor EHS performance while maintaining documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in an EHS role in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and other EHS regulations; CSP/ASP/CIH preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve EHS policies, procedures, and training.
• Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, maintain documentation and report incidents.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and identify hazards with corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training for employees and champion sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and ensure contractor EHS compliance.
• Oversee facility maintenance, vendor coordination, and safety inspections.
