Job summary

GD Energy Products, a legacy manufacturer with 160+ years of industry leadership, seeks an EHS Specialist to support operations in Conroe, TX. You will drive OSHA and corporate EHS compliance, support multiple sites, and lead safety initiatives to protect personnel and the environment.

In this role you will conduct hazard analyses, incident investigations, and regulatory submissions while partnering with production and the EHS team to embed safe practices into daily operations.

Qualifications

• Education/knowledge of Safety/Environmental regulations and compliance.
• Concentration in Safety or Environmental, Science, Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review processes, facilities, procedures and MOC documents to ensureEHS conformance to regulations and guidelines.
• Complete hazard assessments, PHA, life safety reviews, incident investigations, and permit applications.
• Lead action-oriented EHS committees and drive continuous improvement at the site.
• Ensure regulatory submissions and notifications meet federal, state, and local EHS requirements.
• Regulatory inspections experience and advocacy.
• Collaborate with operations to embed EHS into daily work and foster teamwork.
