Job summary

GD Energy Products is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to uphold OSHA and corporate EHS compliance at our Tulsa, OK manufacturing site. You will work with operations to integrate safety into daily processes and lead continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires knowledge of safety regulations, strong communication, training delivery, and project management. A Bachelor's in EHS or related field is preferred, with 2–6 years of EHS experience.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to coordinate with internal and external contacts.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to manage data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review processes, facilities, procedures and MOC documents for EHS conformance.
• Complete hazard assessments, PHA, life safety reviews, incident investigations and permit applications.
• Lead EHS committees and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory submissions and notifications are completed for federal, state and local requirements.
• Educate and coach operations on EHS compliance and practical implementation.
• Collaborate with production to embed EHS in daily activities.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
