Position Summary:

Coordinate all aspects of facility goals and objectives in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS). Will report to the General Manager, Operations Manager, or Manufacturing Manager depending upon division size and structure, and work with their staff on a regular basis. In matters of EHS, will be directly responsible for successful implementation of EHS programs and procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and support programs and procedures to meet facility objectives and targets in EHS, focusing on accident prevention, regulatory compliance, energy management, waste minimization, management systems, training, corrective actions, EPA and OSHA compliance, reporting, record keeping, policy adherence, ISO committees, customer requirements, management reporting, training of new coordinators, conferences, waste management, and integration with other efforts.

Qualifications:

1. BS Degree in a technical field, preferably EHS.
2. Strong knowledge of EHS regulations.
3. Experience in manufacturing environment.
4. Experience in Ergonomics and Behavior-Based Safety is a plus.
5. 3+ years of applicable experience.
6. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
7. Creative in ensuring safety and environmental compliance while meeting production needs.
8. Ability to plan and implement EHS programs and present effectively.
9. Willingness to travel and work out of the office.
