A leading company is seeking an EHS Manager to oversee safety programs at their facility. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, managing training, and promoting a culture of safety. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in EHS within manufacturing. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing local Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, projects, and initiatives to maintain compliance and promote a culture of safety at the Vertiv Pelzer facility. Provides direction to the Pelzer management team for the development and implementation of risk reduction solutions, safety best practices, and continuous improvements to drive to zero injuries. Ensures strict compliance with national, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
