Mueller Water Products, Inc. is seeking an EHS Specialist I to provide technical support and leadership for plant safety, health and environmental programs. You will implement policies, plan compliance activities, and drive continuous improvement across the EHS management system.

Qualifications

• Science-based bachelor’s degree in EHS, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, Ergonomics, or Industrial Hygiene.
• 8 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to support manufacturing operations.
• Assists safety, health and environmental activities via regulatory standards.
• Prepares environmental permit applications and compliance reports.
• Develops and improves EHS elements within the Management System.
• Plans safety policies compliant with OSHA/EPA rules and regulations.
• Conducts education and training for EHS programs.
