Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in Exeter, NH seeks an EHS Specialist I to help maintain employee health and environmental safety across the site. You will assist in developing and maintaining safety, environmental control, regulatory compliance, and training programs.

Responsibilities include supporting process safety, investigations, waste regulations, safety training, and routine inspections; collaborating with safety committees; PPE procurement and ISO compliance. On-site work required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in EH&S preferred.
• 0-2 years’ experience in the environmental health and safety field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Process Safety Management where applicable.
• Aid in accident investigations including workers’ compensation.
• Help ensure compliance with Hazardous and Universal Waste regulations.
• Provide safety training on hazard communications and orientation.
