Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an EHS Specialist I to help maintain a safe working environment across the Arkansas facility. You will support environmental control processes, regulatory compliance, and training programs for a multi-building operation.

The role requires a high school diploma (bachelor’s in EH&S preferred) and 0–2 years in EHS. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in EH&S or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years’ experience in environmental health and safety field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Process Safety Management where applicable.
• Aid in accident investigations including workers’ compensation.
• Help in compliance with Hazardous and Universal Waste regulation.
• Provide safety training as required including hazard communications, new employee safety orientation, lead awareness, hearing conservation, hazardous waste, fire extinguisher, CPR and first aid, and bloodborne pathogens.
