Sofidel SpA in Inola, OK seeks an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to support the EHS Manager in managing programs for environmental compliance, loss control, safety, health, and training at the facility.

The role involves designing and delivering programs to meet federal, state, local, and corporate regulations, maintaining records for audits, and collaborating with site and corporate EHS, government agencies, and industry peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field with 1 year of industrial EHS experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Assist the EHS Manager to maintain accurate EHS programs and metrics.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable federal/state/local regulations and corporate guidelines.
• Provide formal and informal training to employees on safety policies and practices.
• Assist with environmental compliance reports and permits.
• Respond to and investigate EHS incidents and drive corrective/preventive actions.
