Job summary

Supermicro is seeking an EHS Specialist to drive environmental health and safety programs across facilities. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, CalOSHA, EPA, CalEPA, and related regulations while promoting a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities include conducting safety walk-throughs, leading incident investigations, maintaining safety data logs, coordinating training, evacuation drills, and managing chemical SDS library and hazardous waste manifests.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree required.
• 2–4 years in EHS related field.
• Strong organizational, time management, analytic skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure OSHA, CalOSHA EPA, CalEPA, CERS, eVQ, UWED and relevant environmental and safety regulations.
• Help create and update JHA training courses for AHJ departmental training requirements.
• Perform regular safety walk-throughs, facility inspections and audits.
• Lead investigations of workplace accidents, injuries and near misses; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain logs of safety data, training records and OHS logs; assist in environmental reports (air, waste, water).
• Facilitate or participate in employee safety committee meetings.
• Assist with building evacuation drill planning and execution.
• Track and maintain Chemical Management System including library of SDS.
• Maintain, track, and file hazardous waste manifests.
• Prepare EH&S reports as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned
