Job Summary :

The Environment Health & Safety Analyst Environment carries out more complex analyses of EHS data identifies trends in workplace incidents and contributes to the development of risk mitigation strategies. They collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and to promote a culture of safety. The Analyst also assists in the preparation of EHS reports and documentation required by governmental agencies.

Responsibilities : Data Analysis

Collect and analyze environmental data from various sources

Identify patterns and trends in data

Create reports and presentations to communicate findings

Environmental Impact Assessment

Conduct assessments to evaluate potential environmental impacts of projects or policies

Recommend measures to mitigate negative impacts

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations

Develop and implement monitoring programs to track environmental indicators

Evaluate and interpret monitoring data

Identify and address any issues or concerns

Stakeholder Communication

Engage and communicate with stakeholders such as government agencies community groups and industry partners

Provide updates on environmental initiatives and progress

Address any questions or concerns from stakeholders

Project Management

Manage and coordinate various environmental projects

Develop project timelines and budgets

Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Research and Development

Stay up-to-date on the latest environmental technologies regulations and trends

Conduct research to support environmental initiatives

Make recommendations for incorporating new technologies or practices

Collaboration and Teamwork

Work closely with other team members such as scientists engineers and policymakers

Collaborate on projects and share knowledge and expertise

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions

Identify and address environmental problems and challenges

Use critical thinking skills to develop creative and effective solutions

Qualifications :

A bachelors degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health Safety Management or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories principles and concepts.

Knowledge in managing EHS projects and initiatives

Strong analytical skills to interpret data and trends.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and make recommendations.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to group projects.

Salary range :

63600.00 - $101800.00
