Job summary

Solventum is seeking an EHS Senior Specialist to develop and deploy the Environment, Health and Safety program across multiple sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and advancing a culture of safety. The role leads audits, incident investigations, and EHS projects, interfacing with management and operations to mitigate risks.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s or higher with EHS experience or a long-standing High School Diploma with extensive EHS background, OSHA 30 is a plus, and

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 3 years of EHS experience in diverse environments OR High School Diploma with 10 years of EHS experience.
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
  • Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with management and employees.
  • First aid / CPR / AED experience.
  • Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) program across multiple repair sites to ensure regulatory compliance and promote safety and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and advise on EHS audits and assessments, management reviews, incident investigations, EHS systems, ergonomics, and technical standards.
  • Communicate program status and results to management, monitor metrics, and implement improvements.
  • Serve as a technical EHS leader for new/ modified equipment and processes, capital projects, and management of change.
  • Establish extensive corporate interactions to support and facilitate program completion.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
  • Developing and deploying the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) program across multiple repair and sites to ensure compliance with regulations, while promoting a strong culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement; including development of technical procedures and training.
  • Leading and advising on EHS audits and assessments, management review, incident investigations, EHS systems, ergonomics, and technical standards.
  • Communicating program status and results to management, monitoring metrics, recommending and implementing improvements.
  • Serving as a technical EHS leader for new and modified equipment/processes, new product introductions, capital projects, and management of change processes, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated early in project development.
  • Establishing extensive corporate interactions and develops a network of support (repair service, EHS, technical, manufacturing, and engineering) to facilitate completion of programs.
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (3) three years of EHS experience in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED from AND (10) ten years of EHS experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with management and employees
  • First aid / CPR / AED experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication toward diverse teams with varying levels of proficiency in the EHS space
  • Microsoft Office experience

Work location: Onsite-Oakdale, MN; Travel: May include up to 15% [domestic/international]; Relocation Assistance: May be authorized; Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $106,000 - $145,750, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.

In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g.: Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
