Job summary

The Hubbell Internship Program offers a 10 to 12-week Summer Internships in EHS - Safety Systems, designed to build foundational safety knowledge and project experience in a global electrical solutions company.

Interns integrate JSAs, Work Instructions, and Risk Assessments into SOP binders, partnering with EHS, Operations and production teams to create practical reference and training materials that support safety and regulatory compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

• Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university during the internship period (May-August 2027).
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred; familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized safety and operational documentation by integrating JSAs, Work Instructions and Risk Assessments into SOP binders.
• Collaborate with EHS, Operations and production teams to create training materials and references.
• Review EHS program requirements, such as Lockout/Tagout, and participate in annual program updates.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and help establish sustainable safety processes.
• Support onboarding, cross-training efforts and safety training effectiveness.
• Present findings or results to local management at program end.
• Gain knowledge of Hubbell's industries and develop planning and organizational skills.
• Work on challenging projects and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
