Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated, headquartered in Shelton, CT, invites students to join its Internship Program. It is a 10- to 12-week experience focusing on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) program improvements, SOP development, and risk assessment documentation that supports employee safety and compliance.

Interns will develop machine-specific guides and training materials, contribute to onboarding enhancements, and collaborate with operations and EHS teams to strengthen safety culture.

Qualifications

• Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university during the internship period (May–August 2027).
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship (required).
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply classroom knowledge to on-the-job experiences.
• Work on comprehensive, value-added projects.
• Develop technical skills specific to your major.
• Assist with process improvement.
• Provide a presentation to local management at the end of the program.
• Gain knowledge of the Hubbell industry and the role of EHS within it.
