Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. seeks a Safety Manager to drive the company safety strategy, manage training programs, conduct incident investigations, and lead JHAs and emergency response planning.

The role collaborates with executive leadership to improve safety performance and employee engagement in safety practices. The position requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to work cross-functionally, with pre-employment and ongoing drug screening.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience or desire to grow into a leadership role.
• Strong communication skills to lead safety initiatives and influence change.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently.
• Must pass pre-employment and regular drug screening (safety-sensitive role)

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the company safety program
• Manage employee safety training and certification programs
• Conduct and document incident investigations
• Maintain illness and injury prevention programs
• Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs)
• Ensure OSHA and other regulatory compliance
• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning
• Serve as subject matter expert on environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures
