Job summary

Echodyne is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the development and execution of our environmental, health, and safety programs across laboratories, manufacturing, and offices in Washington state.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Facilities, Engineering, Operations and HR to identify risks, drive safety improvements, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the company.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting incident investigations using root cause analysis methodologies.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials management, robotic safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and emergency response planning.
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures for research laboratories, manufacturing and office locations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, WISHA, EPA, DOT, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Lead safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments, identifying corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs, environmental records, permits, and required regulatory reporting for multiple locations.
• Develop and deliver safety orientation and ongoing employee training programs.
• Lead emergency preparedness planning, evacuation procedures, and emergency response drills.
• Partner with local emergency services for pre-planning emergencies.
