Job summary

Grand Design RV is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives across one or more production facilities. You will promote a safe workplace, identify hazards, and implement programs to improve safety culture and compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to intervene in unsafe actions or situations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements is preferred.
• Prior health & safety experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety as a core value across production plants.
• Identify and mitigate hazards in collaboration with plant management.
• Conduct risk assessments to reduce injuries.
• Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits and guide corrective actions.
• Organize and deliver safety trainings.
• Respond to incidents and provide first-aid when needed.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Enter and maintain incident data in the incident management system.
• Analyze safety data to drive improvements.
• Serve as a resource for regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the EHS Manager.
