Job summary

Crane Resistoflex seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Intern to support manufacturing operations by identifying hazards and improving safety, environmental stewardship, and productivity across the facility. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Maintenance to evaluate processes, recommend improvements, and implement projects that enhance employee safety and efficiency.

You will also own larger cost-reduction projects from ideation through feasibility, design, CAPEX

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor‑level degree in Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field.
Strong problem solving and root-cause analysis skills.
Hands-on ability to work in a manufacturing environment and engage with employees at all levels.
Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

Design and implement improvements to production processes and controls.
Develop improvements to manufacturing methods to improve safety, reduce cost, or increase productivity.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, ergonomic evaluations, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Partner with operations and engineering teams to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
