Crane Resistoflex seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Intern to support manufacturing operations by identifying hazards and improving safety, environmental stewardship, and productivity across the facility. An Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern at Crane Resistoflex is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by identifying workplace hazards, improving safety performance, and reducing environmental impacts across the facility. This role works closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to evaluate processes, recommend improvements, and implement projects that enhance employee safety, environmental stewardship, productivity, and operational efficiency. They will also own larger cost reduction projects from ideation, feasibility and design, Capital Expenditure approval, and implementation. The EHS Intern will drive continuous improvement initiatives, conduct risk assessments, support environmental sustainability efforts, and ensure safe work practices are incorporated into manufacturing operations. Lead/Support quality improvement initiatives as per IATF 16949-2016 to achieve set sigma level for value stream. Guide production team on issue resolution using knowledge relevant to your department specialties.
