Job summary

Crane Resistoflex is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to support manufacturing operations by identifying workplace hazards and improving safety performance across the facility. This role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to evaluate processes, recommend improvements, and implement projects that boost employee safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a B.S. in Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement improvements to production processes and controls.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and identify corrective actions.
• Partner with operations and engineering to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
• Lead cost-saving projects from ideation to implementation and sustainment.
• Support ISO/IATF related quality and process improvement initiatives.
