Job summary

Watts is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Intern to support safety initiatives at our Wisconsin facilities. You will assist with inspections, audits, and process improvements while learning how Watts' safety programs operate in a real manufacturing environment.

This on-site internship offers hands-on experience, cross-functional collaboration, and exposure to regulatory requirements. Applicants must be pursuing a Safety & Health degree and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Occupational and Environmental Safety & Health or related field.
• Current student (sophomore, junior or senior).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and solve problems independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and update LOTO program for safety compliance.
• Identify and document safety concerns from production staff.
• Conduct monthly safety audits and recommend improvements.
• Assist with OSHA compliance and safety training programs.
• Travel between Germantown and Menomonee Falls facilities as needed.
