Job summary

Amazon seeks a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to drive data-driven safety programs at a MA delivery site. You will lead audits, investigations, and risk assessments, while delivering engaging training to foster a proactive safety culture.

You will advocate for associate wellbeing, build cross-functional partnerships, and translate safety data into actionable insights to improve safety and productivity on site.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; bachelor’s in EHS preferred or 1 year EHS-related experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Word and Excel; ability to handle confidential workplace information.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advocate for associates’ wellbeing and build cross-functional partnerships.
• Analyze safety data to drive continuous improvement and engagement.
• Assist in emergency response at the site and maintain safety records.
