Job summary

TTX Company North Augusta, SC facility seeks an experienced EHS professional to lead day‑to‑day Health, Safety and Environmental activities. You will provide technical support to the North Augusta Repair Shop Operation and partner with shop leadership to promote a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.

The role covers about 19 regional facilities, requires 30–50% travel, and involves inspections, training, incident investigations, and program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in OH&S, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, or engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in an EHS role in heavy manufacturing, rail, or production operations.
• Experience with OSHA, EPA, DOT, FRA regulations and regulatory reporting.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work varied shifts.
• Strong writing, recordkeeping, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary EHS resource for the North Augusta, SC Repair Shop Operation.
• Provide EHS support to approximately 19 facilities in the region.
• Visit locations regularly to establish EHS presence and provide support.
• Conduct daily and monthly EHS meetings and trainings.
• Support implementation of EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Perform facility EHS inspections and audits.
• Evaluate PPE and ensure proper use and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Oversee hazardous waste storage areas and documentation.
• Travel up to 50% to support facilities for meetings, trainings, inspections, and audits.
• Assist in emergency response activities and incident investigations.
• Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Administer and inspect fall protection equipment.
• Support behavior-based safety and safety program administration.
